Taho Love

By joselle - September 03, 2013

I noticed that I have been eating taho nonstop, every day for three weeks now. It has taken the place of breakfast, and I really cannot complain since it is filling and has enough sugar to jump start my wiring for another day's work. The taho vendor now knows to stop by the house even without me calling out to him, as long as he sees me by the window with a 20 peso bill in hand. I can't help it, taho is simply delicious. And surprisingly, I feel lighter with taho as my breakfast, a fuller meal for lunch, and something light (or not!) for dinner!

I love how the sago pearls roll in my tongue and how the syrup seems to taste sweeter and sweeter as I get to the bottom of the cup. However, the best part would have to be added health benefits from taho, since soybean is notoriously rich in various nutrients. More taho eatin' for me!

  1. Sandy & I love taho too! If you come to Cebu, there's a Korean Place with other Taho Flavors. You should give it a try :)
