Fall 2020, we were going back and forth between chilly weather and warm humidity. Jinshan Park, though, was still all sorts of pretty, with leaves turning various shades and hues of orange, yellow, red and pink, with some greens thrown in.
Got to know S and K and swapped stories about our pets. They're the humans to an adorable Maine Coone who they adopted from Beijing and they adore her. Cats, like dogs, have their own colorful personalities and quirks. Personally, I long meet a derpy pet feline to see they're as hilarious as the memes say they are.
I rarely meet cat people but they're as equally as lovely as people who love mutts. And so we continue to grow our tribe, because a friend to any animal is a good friend of mine.
A few shots from that lovely afternoon and this absolutely effortless session through Jinshan Park.

Spent 30 minutes with the Hatts last fall, enjoying the cool temperatures and colors of autumn at Jinshan Park. It was a real treat getting to shoot a family with their pets outdoors especially since their pup was just a bundle of energy, quite the opposite to the family feline who was cool and collected the entire shoot. This was for the Portraits for Paws project that I did for fall and I'm glad that we got together when we did because a few days after this shoot, typical Chongqing weather reared its wintry head and it was back to chilly days and nights for us.
A few shots from that afternoon with this lovely family.
