Kapitan Joe's Burger

We all need to make time for a burger once in a while.

One of the reasons why I'm thankful that I picked the Hall of Justice for my OJT would be the fact that it's just right across the street from Kapitan Joe's. I've been hearing about this place from my brother and sister who were amazed at their first sight and taste of Kap's Burger. I got my taste of the famous burger a few days into my OJT and man, it did not disappoint.

For P 42 pesos you can have this burger and for another P10 you can get a bottle of Coke Sakto---sweet! (I just love cheap eats!) The burger is not your typical fast food burger though. I sometimes wonder why they charge so cheap when there's an egg and thick slices of pineapple, tomatoes, cucumbers, mustard, and a juicy, tender beef patty in there... I'm sure all that is worth more than P 43. The patty is fresh and moist but crunchy on the outside and the bun is topped by a generous sprinkling of sesame seeds. I wonder, but I don't complain. For the price I would not want Kapitan Joe's to change a thing about their burgers. More on Kapitan Joe's later. :)
